Description
A collaboration with J Smith Esq to create a limited edition Hat Bag. Handcrafted in Italy, each is made of the finest cotton glazed canvas from one of Italy’s famed fabric mills and has been dyed to a specific pantone colour of midnight grey and trimmed in Venetian Calf Skin. The Hat Bag is opened and closed using a flap closure design with a unique solid brass locking mechanism double bathed in Gunmetal featuring the J Smith Esq signature mark.

Designed to safely carry your favourite hats and the outfits chosen to go with them, the Hat Bag also can also be used as cabin carry-on or as a weekend bag given in its size and capacity. Easy to carry and pack, it also has a hidden pocket perfect for keeping all the important things to hand whilst on the move without having to open the bag. The interior, lined in Alcantara has its very own protective hat sleeve that will hold any hat including very wide brimmed ones safely and in shape through your journey. Each piece comes with a detachable and adjustable leather shoulder strap.
Delivery & Returns
Hat Bag travels to you in our signature Gladstn London recyclable packaging. For the UK it is delivered complimentary and will be with you within three business days. For those who would like Hat Bag delivered outside of the UK no UK VAT is payable, delivery is complimentary and will be with you within five business days subject to any duties being paid locally at the time of delivery. We very much hope you never want or need to say goodbye to Hat Bag but if you do returns can be requested in 14 days.

We take enormous pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our bags. Each piece is made in Italy. We work only with selected artisans and suppliers to source our leather, linings and hardware from family-owned businesses in Italy who share our passion for working with the finest materials.
We accept all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as PayPal. For Limited Edition & Bespoke orders, payments are made by secure payment link. We do not accept payment in cash.
If you’re based in the UK VAT (currently 20%) is included in the price you’ll see displayed on our website. If you’re outside of the UK the price you’ll see displayed on our website excludes UK VAT. We currently pay any local duties and taxes for orders shipped to the USA, Canada & Europe. Local taxes and duties may be applicable in other locations.
Once you have placed an order with us you will receive an order confirmation email thanking you and confirming your order details. Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a further email with your tracking number so you can check the status and location of your order.
Orders are dispatched on the same or following working day after your order is placed. If you wish to change your mind or want to make any changes before your order is dispatched, email us at concierge@gladstnlondon.com
We offer complimentary global shipping on all orders. In the UK we use DPD and your order will arrive within 1-2 business days. For global orders, our shipping partner is DHL who we selected for their reliable service and extensive global reach. Your order will be with you within 3-5 business days.
We are unable to ship to a very limited number of locations including Russia. If you are unsure if we ship to your area, please email us at concierge@gladstnlondon.com to check.
Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a further email with your tracking number so you can check the status and location of your order. In addition, our carriers will also contact you with tracking details. For UK deliveries this is DPD and for deliveries outside of the UK this is DHL, both of whom offer comprehensive tracking services.
We want you to love your purchase from Gladstn London. For items purchased from our Everyday Friends collection on www.gladstnlondon.com we offer free returns within 14 days. Please email us at concierge@gladstnlondon.com with your order number to arrange a return. This is subject to any items being returned in their unused original condition. Anything reasonably believed by Gladstn London to have been used, will not be accepted and will be returned to the original customer. You can find full details in our terms of sale.
We want you to love and enjoy your Gladstn London bag. We provide a two-year warranty for purchases from our website www.gladstnlondon.com. Beyond this period, we will make every effort to repair your loved piece. Some repairs may incur a charge.
To ensure authenticity every one of our bags is subtlety and elegantly hand stamped with the Gladstn London hallmark. The three icons – our initials GL, the Gryphon which symbolizes London, and 15, the year of our establishment. This marque authenticates our bags and is our signature of uncompromising craftsmanship and enduring quality.
